We’re pleased to share that our Managing Director, Ryan Blair, has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director at Places for People Scotland, one of the country’s leading housing associations and part of the wider Places for People Group.
With over 15 years of experience across affordable housing, new build delivery, sales, lettings, and strategic asset management, Ryan brings a deep understanding of the sector and a passionate commitment to creating good-quality, safe, and energy-efficient homes. His appointment reflects not only his expertise in operational performance and tenant engagement but also his ability to help organisations stay true to their purpose while navigating an evolving housing landscape.
At Highlight Housing, Ryan leads on strategic growth and service innovation, supporting housebuilders, developers, and registered providers to deliver a wide range of new build housing tenures — from shared ownership and custom build to Build to Rent and mid-market rent. His track record includes scaling the operations of a private equity–backed registered provider in England, as well as forging partnerships across sectors to unlock much-needed housing supply.
